Rorschach's Journal

I bought the graphic novel and watched the movie. Rorschach is a much easier character to connect with than the rest of the cast.

I showed this image to a friend during production and I got quite a scare. I had drawn Rorschach, but I didn't have a clue if he was left or right handed.. yet I had already inked his hands down! I really didn't want to flip the image if I could help it.

Well, after scanning the graphic novel... he appears to swing a cleaver with his left. So I'll take it that he's a southpaw.

Once again, background shamefully swiped from google image search I am no graffiti artist.
